About Me
Brooklyn Corbett
Senior Project Officer & Researcher · The University of Queensland
I'm a researcher and project officer with a PhD in psychology, working at the intersection of cognitive science, educational psychology, and AI-enhanced learning. My work spans higher education and workplace learning, where I design and manage rigorous research, analyse complex datasets, and support evidence-informed decisions about teaching, learning, and student experience. I've had the opportunity to work across a range of methods—from large-scale randomised controlled trials and experimental studies through to qualitative interviews and focus groups. What ties it all together is a commitment to rigour, openness, and the science of learning. What I enjoy most is the space between research and practice: translating findings into something useful, whether that's a data visualisation, a training design, or a conversation that helps shape a decision. I'm drawn to collaborative problem-solving and the kind of work where good methodology meets real-world questions.
